The Gloss Business Directory can be used to find, follow and recommend businesses in the UK and Ireland. Any business can be advertised for free.

Gloss was founded in December 2008 by Stephen Jackson and Alan Lockington, as an affordable way for businesses to promote themselves online.

After a few months of listening and finding out what our customers’ requirements were, we noticed that they were looking for more than just an online business directory. Gloss' businesses were looking for new ways to engage with their customers, to generate leads and help convert those leads into sales.

Gloss is not just a business directory to find businesses and services near you.  It also allows people to follow, recommend and leave testimonials for businesses. Businesses advertising on Gloss, also get their own feature rich home page and can advertise special offers.

This site will continue to grow its features and services over the coming months.  Gloss welcomes feedback of all kinds, and would recommend everyone to use the blue FeedBack tab on the left-hand side of your browser window, and let us know what you think.
